The only way to get the real big screen experience

There are those that argue that enjoying a movie at home is simply not the same unless you are projecting an image. Now you may disagree, however it is certainly a giant step closer to real cinema. If you're a beginer then chances are you will be looking at using either DLP or LCD technology. Both are impressive when used properly and a huge let down if they are not.

Sharp images with new HD projector

Sharp

Sharp has just launched its latest HD Ready projector, the XV-Z3000.  Offering a native widescreen resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and both a dedicated HDMI and component connections, it also claims a hugley impressive contrast ratio of 6500:1 and high maximum brightness of 1200 ANSI Lumens.

 

The XV-Z3000 uses DLP technology, incorporating a 5-speed, 6-segment colour wheel. Other features include BrilliantColor colour correction, a short-throw lens (with an optical 1.15x zoom), sealed optics for low maintenance, and a 275W lamp with a 3000 hour life.

 

The Z3000 is available now for an estimated price of £2,500.
